Delicious macarons

Tried to make macarons today, hoping against hope to produce such delicious ones as Ladurée's in Paris. In Germany, these "cookies" are not be had.
However, the first try was a complete desaster, although alacuisine.org has some very helpful and valuable tips. It'll take a lot of exercise I guess.
